Entity reinforcement (5 points each, 15 total)


Point 8. Named entity density throughout. The page mentions specific named entities (your brand, products, people, clients, frameworks, named statistics) at meaningful density rather than generic placeholder language. Pages saturated with 'leading platform' and 'industry-leading solution' score 0. Pages with specific named references score 5.


Point 9. Brand consistency with third-party surfaces. The way the page describes your company aligns with how G2, Capterra, Crunchbase, and Wikipedia describe you. Inconsistency damages entity recognition. Score 0 for major inconsistency. Score 5 for full alignment.


Point 10. Internal linking to related pillar and cluster content. The page links to relevant pillar pages and is linked from at least three other pages on the site. Orphaned content scores 0. Well-integrated content with both inbound and outbound links scores 5.


Platform-specific signals (5 points each, 20 total)


Point 11. Recency or freshness signals. The page has been updated within the last 12 months and the dateModified property reflects the actual update. Pages last touched two years ago score 0. Pages updated in the last quarter score 5. This matters most for Perplexity, which weights freshness more heavily than the other engines.


Point 12. Bing crawlability and indexation. The page is indexed in Bing and not blocked by robots.txt or other technical issues. Run site:yourdomain.com inurl:slug in Bing to confirm indexation. This matters most for ChatGPT, which retrieves through Bing. Score 0 if not indexed in Bing, 5 if indexed and showing in Bing search results for the target query.


Point 13. AI crawler access. The site's robots.txt explicitly allows GPTBot, PerplexityBot, ClaudeBot, and Google-Extended. Many B2B sites block these crawlers as a legacy anti-scraping move and lose AI citation eligibility entirely. Score 0 if any major AI crawler is blocked, 5 if all are explicitly allowed.


Point 14. Citation rate baseline against this page. Run the page's primary buyer query through ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. Count the number of engines citing the page. Score 0 if no engines cite, 1 to 3 based on engine count, 5 if all three engines cite the page.


Scoring and prioritization


Total possible score is 70 points. After scoring all 14 points for a page, sum the values. The total places the page in one of four prioritization tiers.
